How to check a gift card balance in Backoffice

This document will detailshow how to check the balance of a gift card.card in Backoffice.

If

Onyou'd the Terminal

1. Navigatelike to thesee toolshow screen from the launch screen.

   

   
   

    

2. Selectto check gift card balance.

   

   
   

    

3. Swipe the gift card or enter the gift card number.

   

   
   

    

4. It will then display the gift card balance and print outon a slip.

   Terminal

   or on a handheld, please click the link

    

5. Alternatively gift card balance can be checked from the payment screen.

   

    

6. Select gift card from the payment screen .

   

    

7. Select gift card balance from the prompt.

   

    

8. Swipe the gift card or enter the gift card number.

   

    

9. It will then display the gift card balance and print out a slip.

   

On the Handheld

1. To check the balance on the handhelds go the the more section and select tools.

   

    

2. Select Check Gift Card.

   

    

3. The handheld will prompt for a card number. Enter it then press the Check balance button and it will appear to the right of the button.

   

    

4. Alternatively you can check the balance from the payments screen.

   

    

5. Then select gift card.

   

    

6. Enter the card number then select Check Balance. The balance will populate to the right of the Check Balance button.

   

In Back Office

1. To find a gift card balance in back office go to the POS tab and select Gift Cards.

   

    

2. There is a feature in the gift card section of back office to have the balance print on the receipt when a gift card is used. See How to create a gift card button for more information on gift card settings.
