Ingredient Usage by Server Report

ThisThe is the Ingredient Usage by Server Report shows how often each ingredient was added, modified, or removed, but breaks the results down by server instead of combining them into a single list. This makes it easy to see which employees are customizing orders most frequently and how ingredients are being used at the individual level. Like the standard Ingredient Usage Report, this report only includes items from the “All Ingredients Modifier Set.”

Where to find the report

  • Backoffice --> Reporting --> Reports --> Sales folder --> Ingredient Usage by Server --> Select Date Range --> Execute

Report Parts

Column Descriptions
  • Add – Number of times an ingredient was added to an order.

  • Extra – Number of times an ingredient was requested as extra. (Note: if not used, this column may not appear in every server’s table.)

  • No – Number of times an ingredient was removed from an item.

  • On Side – Number of times an ingredient was requested on the side. (This column may not appear if unused in the reporting period.)

  • Sub – Number of times the ingredient was used as a substitution.

  • Total – The overall number of times the ingredient was referenced (Add + Extra + No + On Side + Sub).

Additional Notes:

  • The prep modifier words (Add, Extra, No, On Side, Sub) are configurable in your system. Your location may use different wording.

  • Only ingredients that were actually used or modified during the reporting period appear under each server.

  • Because this report is organized per server, totals at the bottom of each grid reflect only that employee’s activity.

How to Use This Report

  • Use this report when you want to see modifier usage per server instead of location-wide totals.

  • Helpful for spotting servers who use a lot of “No” or “Sub” requests compared to others.

  • Lets you see if certain servers are doing more “Add” or “Extra” requests, which may show upselling or just guest preference patterns.

  • Each server’s table ends with a Total row that shows the sum of their modifier usage.
