New Features

1. Added Skill Levels to job roles

  • We’ve introduced a new Skill Level option that allows you to assign a proficiency level to each employee’s job role.
    • This feature lays the groundwork for a future Ingage Scheduling feature, launching early next year. Skill Levels will initially serve as reference points within the scheduler, and later will play a key role in shift swapping rules.
  • Skill Levels default from 1–4, but you can rename them to fit your organization (e.g., Training, Novice, Intermediate, Expert).

    • You can also add or delete levels to match your needs.

  • To edit them go to Staff --> Job Roles --> Skill Levels tab

  • By default, all existing job roles are set to Skill Level 1.

  • To update an employee’s Skill Level:

    1. Go to Staff > Employees.

    2. Select the employee and open the Job Roles tab.

    3. Click the pencil icon to edit, then use the Skill Level dropdown to choose the appropriate level.
