Release 2025.9.1 "Wasabi"

Improvements

1. Additional Shortcut Actions

  • We have added two more shortcut actions to be added to either a shortcut button, or to the speed rail

#1 - Adjust Seat Count

  • This action will update the guest count of the order per the parameters you set. 
  • The guest count it was changed to will be the selected guest
    • Increment by: This will add seats to the order based on the amount you set.
      • Most commonly used to add 1 seat to the table with this quick push of a button
    • Decrement by: This will remove seats from the order based on the amount you set.
      • It will not let you decrease if there is only 1 guest left on the table
    • Set to: This will automatically set the guest count to the number to set
      • If there are less guests than the set number, it add the correct number of guests to get to the set number
      • If there are more than the set number, it will remove the correct number of guests to get to the set number. If there are items on those seats they will be moved to the last seat

#2 - Set Guest

  • This action will set the current selected guest to the guest specified

2. Kitchen ticket Font and Spacing

  • We have added 2 new fonts and renamed 2 of the existing fonts
  • You can select the Font size on each printer.
  • For each font size here are the characters before it starts to wrap: 
    • X-Small (New) - 38
    • Small - 31
    • Normal (the Default) - 18 
    • Tall (formally Big) - 31
    • Large (formally Huge) - 18 
    • X-Large (New) - 14

  • We have also added some additional Spacing options
    • You can now add spacing between individual items
    • You can now add spacing between groups (Persons or Courses; depending on how you have your grouping strategy set)

  • We have added the option to enter a custom text when choosing the Person or Courses grouping strategy. 
  • If you leave it Blank it will say "Guest #" or "Course #"
  • Example below: Seat <#> will say "Seat #"

3. Discount usage options

  1. New Limits
    1. Max Use per check - You can optionally set that maximum number of times this discount can be used on the whole check
    2. Max use per guest - You can optionally set that maximum number of times this discount can be used on an individual guest


  2. You can now set a "Minimum order Amount" so that it can be used with either a check or an item level discount
    1. The order subtotal must be equal or greater than the amount for this discount to be applicable
      1. Example usage for a check level discount: if you have a $5 off $25 coupon, you would set the minimum order amount to $25. This ensures that the $5 off discount can only be applied when the customer’s total check reaches or exceeds $25
      2. Example usage for an Item level discount: if you offer a “Free Cheese Bread with a $25 purchase” promotion, you would set the minimum order amount to $25. Once the customer’s check reaches or exceeds that amount, the discount can be applied directly to the Cheese Bread item, making it free.

4. Sales Accountability Report - "Payment Details" checkbox

  • A new "Include Payment Details" checkbox has been added to the Sales Accountability Report. When selected, this option will break out each payment type (such as check, credit card, gift card, etc.) into its own column, giving you a more detailed view of how sales were paid.

  • Note: Checks will only show up in that column if they are NOT included in your amount due.
    • If they are Included in your amount due, then they are treated like cash and not separated out

Fixes

  1. Resolved an issue where two daily settlements were being sent during day close. Only one settlement will be sent moving forward.
  2. Fixed a bug where payments processed using the A77 device caused charges to be reduced to $0 when reopened on the terminal.
  3. The Item Price Adjust tab now fully supports Size Groups, allowing for accurate showing which size groups are in that price level
  4. Managers with access limited to their own location in Backoffice can now edit the Modifier Price Matrix as expected.
  5. Location-specific cook times now update correctly in Backoffice when changes are made.
  6. Fixed an issue where the Edit Item Duplication feature on handhelds incorrectly duplicated happy hour pricing when it shouldn’t have.
