How to add or subtract reward point on the terminal

This document will show you how to add or subtract point from a terminal

1. Set job role rights in Backoffice

  • Backoffice --> Staff --> Job Roles
  • Click the pencil next to the job role you'd like to edit
  • Open the tree: POS --> Front of house --> Order (or you can use the Task search feature and type in Rewards)  
    • Check the box on "Manually Adjust Member Reward Points"
    • You will need to do this for all job roles who you'd like to give access

2. How to add/subtract point from the terminal

  • Click on the Rewards button on the bottom tool bar
  • Use the "Look up" button to type in the customers phone number
  • Select the customer
  • Use the "Add Pts" to add points to the customer
  • Use the "Remove Pts" to subtract points from the customer
    • If the staff member does not have the job rights to do so, the will get a pop up message for a manager to type in their code to allow it.

3. What it look like on the customers history view

  • The notes that you type in will show up on the member portal in the customers history and in the merchant portal
  • Here is an example of what it will look like when the customer goes to their history
