How to check a gift card balance

This document will detailshow how to check the balance of a gift card.card on the terminal.

From the Launch Screen

1. Navigate to the toolsFunctions screen from the launch screen.

   

   
   

    

2. Select checkthe giftCheck cardGift balance.Card Balance button.

   

   
   

    

3. Swipe the gift card or entertype in the gift card number.

   

   
   

    

4. It will then display the gift card balance and print out a slip.

   

 

 

From the Order entry screen

1. Alternatively the gift card balance can be checked from the paymentorder entry screen.

   1. You can either swipe the card directly on this screen

   2. or Go to the payments screen
      
      

      

       

       

2. Select Gift Gard from the payment options .

   

    

3. Select gift card from the payment screen .

   

    

4. Select gift cardcheck balance from the prompt.

   

    

5. Swipe the gift card or entertype in the gift card number.

   

    

6. It will then display the gift card balance and print out a slip.
