How to refresh cache on a handheld

Refreshing cache on a terminal or handheld pulls the current version of Sail from the serversserver onto your terminal.handheld. This can be used to push any information entered into back office to the terminal.handheld.

Terminal

1. Log into the terminal and navigate to the tools screen.

   

   
   

    

2. From the tools screen select the refresh cache button.

   

   
   

    

3. The system will refresh the cache which should take about 15 to 30 seconds. Once the system has refreshed it will go back to the log in page. A message stating that the system has been refreshed will appear.

   

   
   

    

4. Select the ok button and log back in.

Handheld

1. From the log inlogin screen press the settings button in the upper left corner.

   

   
   

    

2. Select refresh cache.

   

   
   

    

3. The next time someone tries to log into the device it will refresh before logging in. This should only take 30 seconds to 1 minute
