How to start a table

 

This will walk through the process of starting a table on a terminal..

Table View Screen

1. Log in to a terminal.
   
   

2. Open the tables button to get to the table view.view screen.

   

   
   

    

    

3. Double click or click and hold the table you would like to add an order to.

   

   
   

   1. A single tap on a table will select it turning it Yellow.

   2. A second tap on a selected table will deselect the table.

   3. A quick double tap will open a new table using the table number that has been selected.
      
      

4. The order screen will open with a guest count automatically entered based on the table that was selected.

   

   
   

    

5. You may now start to enter orders. If you need to change something about the table see the Modifying a table Document. The order will not be saved into the system until you press sendSend/Stay or done.Send/Done.
   
   

 

 

New Order Button

1. Log into a terminal.
   
   

2. From the launch screen select “New Order”. This button is also available on the Table view, Payments, and Orders screens as well.

   

    

    

3. Enter the table number.

   

    

    

4. Enter the guest count.

   

    

    

5. Once the guest count is entered it will take you to the order screen. Your table is open and you may now enter orders.

   

    

    

6. If you need to change something about the table see the Modifying a table document. The order will not be saved into the system until you press sendSend/Stay or done.Send/Done.
   
   

 

Handheld
Quick Order

1. Log into thea hand held.

   

    terminal.
   
   

2. Navigate toFrom the tableslaunch screen.

   select

   “Quick Order”. This button is also available on the Table view, Payments, and Orders screens as well.
   
   
   
   
   
   

3. Press the plus sign in the upper right corner.

   

    

4. This will openbring you directly into the order entry screen. It will have a prompttable thatnumber asksof for0 and guest count of 1.

   1. At some locations the quick order button is set to "auto increment" which means the table number.numbers Enterwill go up each time you click the tablenew numberorder andbutton press done in the upper right corner.

      

       

   2. After table number it will prompt you for a guest count. Select how many guests arestarting at the table.

5. Next it will open to the order screen.

   

    

    

6. The table has been opened but it will not save into the rest of the system until you press Send or Done.

   

    

    

7. If you need to change something about the table see the How to ModifyModifying a Table.table document. The order will not be saved into the system until you press sendSend/Stay or done.
