How to start a table
This will walk through the process of starting a table on a terminal.

There are 3 most common ways to start a table from the terminal.
Table View Screen

Log in to a terminal.

Open the tables button to get to the table view screen.

Double click or click and hold the table you would like to add an order to.

A single tap on a table will select it turning it Yellow.

A second tap on a selected table will deselect the table.

A quick double tap will open a new table using the table number that has been selected.

The order screen will open with a guest count automatically entered based on the table that was selected.

You may now start to enter orders. If you need to change something about the table see the Modifying a table Document. The order will not be saved into the system until you press Send/Stay or Send/Done.
New Order Button

Log into a terminal.

From the launch screen select “New Order”. This button is also available on the Table view, Payments, and Orders screens as well.

Enter the table number.

Enter the guest count.

Once the guest count is entered it will take you to the order screen. Your table is open and you may now enter orders.

If you need to change something about the table see the Modifying a table document. The order will not be saved into the system until you press Send/Stay or Send/Done.
Quick Order Button

Log into a terminal.

From the launch screen select “Quick Order”. This button is also available on the Table view, Payments, and Orders screens as well.
- This will bring you directly into the order entry screen. It will have a table number of 0 and guest count of 1.
- If you need to change something about the table see the Modifying a table document. The order will not be saved into the system until you press Send/Stay or Send/Done.
