How to modify, duplicate or add a note to a menu item

This will walk you through how to change the ingredients on an item, ring in another one just like it, or add a note for the kitchen on a handheld. Slide the item to the right on the order to see + Modify, Duplicate and Notes.

Modifying an item

1. Slide the item to the right and tap + Modify.

   

    

2. Tap the group the ingredient is in.

   

    

3. Tap the ingredient. Each tap changes it to the next choice (No, Add, On Side and so on), shown next to its name.

   Note: To pick the choice straight from a list, tap the i icon next to the ingredient instead.

   

    

4. If you tapped the i icon, tap the choice you want.

   

    

5. Tap Back to change an ingredient in another group, or Done when you're finished. The changes show under the item on the order.

   

    

 

Duplicating an item

1. Slide the item to the right and tap Duplicate.

   

    

2. A second one is added for the same guest, with the same changes.

   

    

 

Adding a note to an item

1. Slide the item to the right and tap Notes.

   

    

2. Type the note and tap OK.

   

    

3. The note shows under the item, before its other changes.

   

    

Note: Remember to tap Send or Done to send your changes. Once an item has been paid, it can't be modified, duplicated or given a note.
