Improvements

1. Item filters can now be used for rewards points

You can now control which items earn rewards points using item filters. Instead of awarding points on every purchase, you can choose exactly which items qualify for rewards. This gives you more flexibility to design loyalty programs that better match your business goals.

Examples include:

  • Limiting rewards to food purchases only (not drinks)

  • Rewarding points only on selected items such as salads, wraps, and sandwiches

Important note about discounts when using an item filter:

  • Item-level discounts will be taken into account when calculating points for qualifying items
  • When a check-level discount is applied, points will not be adjusted as the discount cannot be tied to specific items.

2. Debit & Credit totals are now separated out on 2 payment reports.

The Payment Details Report and Batch by Day Report now separate credit and debit card totals. This makes it easier to review card activity and accurately calculate surcharge amounts for restaurants using credit card surcharging.
