How to check a gift card balance

This document will show how to check the balance of a gift card on the terminal.

From the Launch Screen

1. Navigate to the Functions screen from the launch screen.

   

   
   

    

2. Select the Check Gift Card Balance button.

   

   
   

    

3. Swipe the gift card or type in the gift card number.

   

   
   

    

4. It will then display the gift card balance and print out a slip.

   

 

 

From the Order entry screen

1. Alternatively the gift card balance can be checked from the order entry screen.

   1. You can either swipe the card directly on this screen

   2. or Go to the payments screen
      
      

      

       

       

2. Select Gift Gard from the payment options .

   

    

3. Select check balance from the prompt.

   

    

4. Swipe the gift card or type in the gift card number.

   

    

5. It will then display the gift card balance and print out a slip.
