Kitchen Ticket Examples
This document will show you examples of kitchen and bar tickets using different fonts, spacing, and headers
Impact Printer Fonts
- Here is an example of each of the 6 different font printed on an impact printer that is most often used in the kitchen
- The chart will tell you how many characters will fit on 1 line before it wraps to a second line
- Note: only modifiers and notes will wrap. The parent item will cut off letters

Thermal Printer Fonts
- Here is an example of each of the 6 different font printed on a thermal printer that is most often used at the bar and for customer receipts
- The chart will tell you how many characters will fit on 1 line before they are cut off

Spacing Between Items
- The examples below all use the NORMAL font
- They all have 0 spacing between guests
- The space in between ranges from 0-10

Spacing Between Groupings
- The examples below all use the NORMAL font
- They all have 2 spacing between items
- The space in between ranges from 0-10

Custom Grouping Header examples
- Here are a couple different examples of headers you can use in between groups
- The Custom grouping text only works with "Guest" or "Course" grouping strategy
- The top of the receipt will show you what I typed into the custom grouping text box
- If you type nothing into the text box it will use the (Default) headers "Guest 1" or "Course 1"
